Post your characters here if you want to join. I will open up with mine, a rather spunky clumsy Vaporeon morph. Quite possibly my favorite character I've ever made. I will make more too. Credits for the part about Serena go to Adachi, the rest (C) to me.
Name: Vanessa Leblanc
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Affiliation: Team Rocket
Morph: Vaporeon
Pokemorph Ability: Water Absorb (Heals some when struck by a water move)
Appearance
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 115
Eyes: Blood Crimson
Hair: Vanessa's hair is long and flowing; straight and silk-like and dark as the midnight sky. It has a tint of blue in the light.
Face and Skin: Vanessa's got a rather large forehead, but her long bangs do a good job of covering it. Her bright red eyes are fairly large, but often reflect the pain and self doubt she endures. When with her friends, she smiles a lot and has a small dimple on on her left cheek from this. Water healing is a fairly unique pokemorph ability, and it keeps her skin more or less flawless and prevents much aging. She should have a large vertical scar across her left (blind) eye, which is a much dimmer, darker red than the right one. That mark was healed though.
General Appearance: She doesn't wear makeup, because it tends to absorb into her skin and acts as a toxin. She doesn't need it though...as far as Eeveelution morphs go, the girl is ravishingly stunning. Her figure is rather curvy, with a medium sized bust and long fast legs. Her tail is retractable, disappearing when she wants it to. It is extremely long, easily reaching the floor and about a foot of it would just drag along. It's quite powerful, but only really useful for swimming. Her feet are as blue as the rest of her skin, but look like that of a human. They are capable of becoming webbed when she wants them too though.
Vanessa started her life as a human baby, and was infused with the D.N.A of a Vaporeon at the rather young age of seven. She was an experiment, designed to be the most powerful water pokemorph that the world had ever known. When they found her abilities to be only slightly above average, she was tossed on to the streets. Considered a failed experiment along with her friend, a Jolteon morph named Jason. Growing up on the streets hardened her...she learned how to talk, act, and even how to fight. This is why she is the way she is...
She's quiet and calculating, and quite capable of killing people. In fact she's done so. Vanessa is quite a capable thief, easily snatching things from people without them detecting it. She is also very protective of team rocket members, from her highest ranking council to the lowest grunts. Vanessa is pretty clumsey when she doesn't focus, often resulting in humorous messes. It's like a sort of ADHD trait. While she's capable of focusing when she has to, it's only on one thing.
She doesn't take anything for granted after losing her best friend to a blizzard. That's why she's so motherly and protective. If someone threatened one of her team mates, she'd slit their damn throats herself. One more thing, Vanessa's got a pretty...strange sense of humor, so she says some odd things at times.
History
Her entire history could be summed up in one fateful day...
Five Years Ago...
Abandoned at a young age, the streets were an inevitable part of the lives of the two children. No one deserved this though, especially not kids who were both barely fourteen. It was January, and it was a bitter cold winter's night in the run down part of Fort Scarlet. The vast metropolis was more accustomed to milder weather. This area was poverty stricken, and this was the coldest night the Tirakan capital had seen in a long time. To make matters worse, the wind chill and blizzard that came with the cold, was unbearable even under five layers of clothing.
Behind what looked like an abandoned warehouse, two eeveelutions shivered in the cold. There was a Male Jolteon Hybrid, Jason. A Vaporeon girl was curled up to him with sisterly affection, and they tried to share and conserve what little heat they had. The two weren't actually siblings, but they were both created by the same negligent scientists who only cared about the cost of raising their creations. Both were abandoned at the age of seven. Jason, the poor lad, had the very worst of the bone-shivering cold. He'd given the only winter coat they had, a musty old thing, to Vanessa. He insisted that the girl wear it, despite her desperate pleas to him that she was better adapted to survive icy weather than he was. His stubbornness in the coat issue would prove fatal for him by the time the morning came along.
Jason had a pokemon companion. A Flareon, which the two of them joked completed the set. The pokemon's name was Pyro, and the cold didn't seem to bother him in the least. The little dog tried to get a fire going for them, but the wind and snow made this difficult. It swirled, and the snow filled in all the holes, covering the three of them in a thin blanket. There was no escape from this horrible hell... This really was their life.
Jason loved Vanessa dearly, with all his heart. She was everything to him. One time, a man tried to drag her away to do dirty things to her. Jason killed him with a fury of pin missiles to the neck, which created a bloody mess that stained the brick walls. What may seem savage to everyday folk was merely survival for these two. When they were younger, before puberty settled in, Jason cared for her much like a sister. But as they grew, that bond that he had, it was a romance for him. Jason never did realize that Vanessa was completely homosexual, and had no interest in men whatsoever. And she never knew of his romantic affection for her.
Finally, the two managed to get to sleep. The hours went on, and the cold took it's toll. As morning came, poor Vanessa woke up to find her best friend frozen, embracing her in a hug. He wasn't coming back... As tears began to form in her deep blue eyes, she began to whimper. It was absolutely devastating for her. Jason was her only human companion... her brother, basically. She started to cry, covering her eyes with her hands. "Jason... It can't be..." She cried, sniffing. Her mouth curled into a horrible state of shock and panic. She held her dead friend close...His body was completely frozen solid. It was as cold as the feeling in her heart.
As she began to weep, the Flareon started to howl an ear-piercing howl. It was hoping someone could help them out... It wasn't worried about itself. The Flareon felt warm as anything. The intention was to get Vanessa somewhere warm. The girl had just lost her friend, and she was coming down with pnemonia too.
"Pyro..." She said, sniffling. Flareon looked up at her. "We have to stick together...I'll ... *sniff* I'll be the one to take care of you now." She told him, as the tears slid down her cheeks, and fell into the snow. Her voice was barely audible.
"FLAREON!!!!" It roared, desperately trying to get someone's attention.
Was it to any avail?
--
With a growl, the desk went flying. Granted, it was a small desk, and it didn't go very far, but it did burst into flames. "Why the hell is it NOT WORKING!" She stormed out of the abandoned building, not exactly the nicest place in town. It was definitely proving to have a good deal of wear and tear on it, and she regretted even coming back to it. But, what with leaving Rocket to do more field work, she had to store her results and plots somewhere. The placed held many memories, that was for sure. Memories she wished wouldn't conjure themselves up while she was trying to work...
It was years ago. About three by now, she figured. I don't see why it even matters anymore... It's not like they obviously care much, considering they haven't found me yet... And to think we spent all those years together. To think I thought they were friend enough to find me if they wanted to.... Her mind was scattered, her face solemn. She was headed out of the building, grabbing a parka on the way out. The weather was nasty, but she needed a break from the mess she was remembering. The mess of her childhood friends, her best friends, Nathan and Sunaachi. Every time they came to mind, she couldn't accomplish anything. Her mind held no focus when she had no idea juat what had happened to her friends.
Serena was a very small girl, a young adult at this point. She stood barely at five foot, and she weighed very little. She had the rust color ears and the pale blonde tail of a Flareon, but not the usual morph everyone loved. She was a hybrid, born and raised in Team Rocket's labs. Neglected by the humans and morphs that had lives not belonging to Rocket, she grew up craving attention and receiving little of it. She did all that she could, and put every ounce of faith in her pokemon, especially her Arcanine and Ninetales. They were the closest things she had to family at this point, and she adored them. The girl had left Team Rocket only a year ago, to see just what she could accomplish on her own. She left no trace for those that didn't know her, but all the trace for the people she'd spent her youth with.
The moment she stepped outside, she almost regretted it. The fierce winds practically knocked her over, being that there wasn't much to her petite frame. Pulling the jacket tight around her, she began to walk away from the silent city, away from her memories. The streets were practically abandoned, considering the weather was horrid. But, then again, everybody that was indoors had the opportunity to be warm and amongst people. Being that she was a hybrid, and part of Team Rocket, she wasn't welcomed by many people, if at all, any. And, considering the warehouse was indeed abandoned, she had to keep it warm herself, to avoid raising suspicion.
Just out of town, her ears picked up the faintest roar. Perking up, she scanned the area, hoping for some possible action. Beside her appeared a flash of red light, and an Arcanine following the reaction. Glancing at her companion, she nodded, and hopped onto her back. She leaned forward, clutching the mane of the huge Arcanine and trying to stay out of the blowing winds. Arcanine took off in the direction of the noise, huge paws pounding on the ground. It made the air colder, not doubt, and Serena clinged to her friend, trying to keep the wind off of her. As they arrived closer to the intense howling, Serena easily noted it was a Flareon, and there was something wrong. A soft spot for fire pokemon, she urged Arcanine in it's direction.
Immediately upon reaching the area, Serena jumped off her Arcanine and ran over. Realizing the apparant connection between the girl that was freezing and the Flareon, as well as the frozen boy in close proximity, her Ninetales appeared on the opposite side of her Arcanine. Raising a Psychic sphere around them all, Arcanine lit a blazing fire in the direct center of the area, while Ninetales kept the barrier up to keep them from the wind and snow. She walked over to the girl and knelt beside her, cautious, but concerned. "Are you okay? May I ask what happened?"
--
Vanessa struggled, using all her strength to look up at Serena. She made eye contact, and she seemed to be entranced by Serena. It was like for a second, she came out of the cold, and was fully aware of everything on a highly spiritual level. She knew the girl... She had to. She opened her mouth to speak, but she found it difficult. ~A...Flare...eon...hybrid?~" She thought. Even her brain shivered at this point. Jason had been the only person she'd ever met who was like her, up until now. She was beyond the point of shivering. If she didn't get out of this storm soon, she would fall victim to a similar fate as Jason did. The poor kid just fell over in the snow, and Flareon tried to use a less intense fire to help heat her. Flareon was quite capable of speaking English, as he too was a "failed" experiment. He had human vocal cords and an extremely intelligent brain, but the rest of his body was that of a Flareon.
Flareon approached Serena. "We're homeless...This storm has killed my trainer, the Jolteon Hybrid. Vanessa is going to die...She needs shelter." The small pup pleaded. The small fire pokemon looked up at the massive Arcanine who stood less then three feet away. He nodded in respect to his fellow fire pokemon, and again to Ninetales. "Honestly I'm surprized she even survived the night." he told them, humbly lowering his head. His tail drooped between his legs. "Have you got anywhere for us to stay?" He asked.
He whined dog-like, and started sniffing Vanessa who was on the ground. He didn't know how much more of this she could take. She was tough though, and resisting ice was very helpful.
--
After that, Serena, a low ranking rocket scientist took her and Flareon in. Vanessa had little choice but to join the same company that abandoned her. Serena assured her that things would be different...and they were... Climbing the ranks together, both she and Serena became gems in the eyes of Giovanni, and as such he appointed them both to be the leaders of Gamos Region's Rocket faction.
