Firstly I'm not going to get into all the Advanced/Basics aspects of breeding. This is pretty much a simplified rundown guide for faster IV breeding in Gen 6. Things you want to do is:
(You can skip the notes and go to straight to "Getting Started". But if you want to fully understand most things on breeding I recommend you take the time to read.)
Key Locations:
Pokemon Day Care: Located east of Camphrier Town on route 7. Leave to compatible Pokemon here two get your egg.
*The IV Checker: Located in the Pokecenter in Kiolude. He will tell you the best of your Pokemon's stats even telling you multiples, Also he will rate the overall potential your Pokemon has
*Friend Safari: Located in Kiolude. Pokemon here can have their Hidden Abilities and Pokemon found within the Friend Safari have got two IVs of 31.
(Something to note about the Friend Safari: Each zone you get are based on the number of friends on your 3ds. and each of your friends zone types are based on their Friend Code. So you won't always find people with the type Pokemon you want. It's best to also look on the GTS for Ditto's leveled around 21-to 30. That way it's easier to determine which Ditto are from the FS.)
G.T.S: Search for Pokemon you want to breed.
(You no longer need to see the Pokemon you want in order to find it on the G.T.S. So long as you can spell you can find any Pokemon available).
Useful Abilities:
Synchronize:If your lead Pokemon has this ability, wild Pokemon will have a 50% chance of copying their nature.
(This works even while they're fainted).
Flame Body/Magma Armor: Eggs hatch quicker.
(half the number of steps are required).
Key Items:
Everstone: Passes the nature of the parent that holds it 100%.
Destiny Knot: Pass 5 random IV's between the parents and the baby.
Power Items: Attach these Items to either of the parents and their specific Individual Value will be passed on to the baby.
*(They're located at the Battle Mansion in Kiolude)
PokeBalls: Now in Gen 6 the baby Pokemon will now come in the same PokeBall as the mother.
(Useful for things like Eevee in luxury Balls).
Getting Started:
1.) Get Destiny Knot.
(You can get it from the maid at the hotel in Cyllage City.)
2.) Get Everstone.
(You can find one in Geosenge Town or wild Roggenrola's)
3.) Get Synchronizers.Get A decent set of Pokemon with Synchronize and key Natures.
(IE: Adamant, Timid, etc. Easiest way I do it have a Friend safari with Psychic and catch Munna and Xatu's or G.T.S)
4.) Get Ditto(s).
(You can find them in Pokemon Village. But you mainly want a friend Safari Ditto for it's 2 maxed out IV's and that way you can stock up on them. Be sure to name them their maxed out IV's or something clever so you can remember which is which IV's. Try to get 3 Maxed stats best.)
- Have a decent amount of friends registered in your 3DS. It's not something you need but for breeding it's useful
- Have beaten the Elite Four
(You can skip the notes and go to straight to "Getting Started". But if you want to fully understand most things on breeding I recommend you take the time to read.)

Getting Started:
Ok I just want to say the Friend Safari is your best friend with this. If by some grace you have a friend with Ditto in their Safari take advantage. I listed some of the main things to note while breeding, but I'm going to keep it simple and list the basic breeding guide.

Breeding
So Breeding got way more easier. You can pretty much get Pokemon with their IV's close/to always maxedabusing the Friend Safari and Destiny Knot. So now that you're set lets start breeding.
Just getting species is enough for now.
(Lets say I want Eevee to make Espeon).
Just breed the Pokemon you want with a Ditto or something else that's compatible that has the Nature you want (Make sure Ditto or the desired nature pokemon is holding an Everstone). Or you just breed a bunch until you get the nature you want.
(So now I have my Timid Eevee that I got from breeding using My Timid Ditto).
Make sure the Ditto has the desired IV's.
(In this case I have My Timid Eevee holding an Everstone breeding with my 31 SPATTK and 31 SPEED Ditto holding Destiny Knot).
Keep breeding until you find a Baby with the desired IV's Passed down.
(I now have my Timid Eevee with 31 SPATTK AND 31 SPEED.)
This part is optional but you can breed that baby with the desired IV's with a different Ditto with desired stats for better IV's. Keep Breeding and eventually you'll get a balance of stats.
(So I want my Espeon to have some high HP so I will breed My 31 SPATTK and 31 SPEED Eevee with a 31 HP and 31 SPDEF Ditto )
- If both Parents are holding power items, only one set of IV's will be passed down at a time. Always go for everstone on one and destiny knot/power items on the other.
-Hidden Abilities are now passed down between both parents regardless of gender, so long as one has the ability. Also you can find Pokemon in the Friend Safari with their hidden Abilities, so long your friend beat the E4 and is online.
(not sure about the Online Part).
- Didn't Talk about Egg Moves but you pretty much want the Pokemon with the move breed with the Pokemon you want to have
(so long as they're in the same Egg Group).
-Also try to see if the Pokemon you want is in your Friend Safari first. Guaranteed two maxed IVs isn't bad, Try to hunt them with the Synchronizer that has the nature you want the Pokemon in the safari to have. (Saves a lot of time).
-Masuda method: If two Pokemon from different regions breed (IE: Japanese Ditto and English Charmander) you have a higher chance of getting a shiny.
(This is veeerryy tedious work. The Friend Safari also has an increased shiny rate if your friend is online. No one knows the exact rate but it's speculated around 1 in 300, Damn....)

Now I have my Eevee with 31 SPATTK and 31 SPEED (and 31 HP/DEF if fully bred) ready to be EV Trained!
Additional Notes:
So that's pretty much it. Thanks all who took the time to read and I hope it helped! Lastly, here are some more things you should note:
So that's pretty much it. Thanks all who took the time to read and I hope it helped! Lastly, here are some more things you should note:
-The key is having set of Dittos with 2 (better if 3) maxed out IV's in varies stats. Hunting them in the Friend Safari is the hard Part. You won't always have a friend with a Normal type Safari. So if you must then trade, get one from Pokemon Village, and/or the G.T.S
