Hey guys, with the ongoing battle league; i would like to propose a tourny since usually ppl are forced to wait out two weeks upon their own completion.
I feel this side tourney can be thrown in as well due to the large amount of time available in between the waits.
The rules:
-Standard battling clauses apply, lvl 50, 6 v 6
-Elimination style play
-Best of three series in the beginnings; so the person to win two games at first will win the series and eliminate the other player.
-After the first few rounds to narrow the players, quarterfinals will consist of a best of five series. As well as the semifinals.
-the last two remaining will face off in a best of seven series with the winner taking the eventual prize that i will come up with.
HERES THE CATCH THOUGH...
- players must use the SAME six pokemon THROUGHOUT the entire tournament... no changing for favorable type matches or whatever.
to maintain the integrity of this system, players entering will first play their first match using the 6 they deem fit for the rest of the tourney. After playing the match, the opposing side will POST the team that the OTHER member is using (regardless of who won the series) This way, i can keep track of this.
-Of course there are no hacks, and anything breaking a clause will result in a one game penalty (player losses that one match), but can rectify themselves by playing trying to win the series.
- Due to the nature of this playing style, games should be swift and the tourney can be completed rather quickly.
- People are randomly chosen using my table of random digits so there is no bias.
- the amount of people im hoping for is...32.. but 16 is fine (that'll bring us to the auto quarterfinal play sooner)
